Movember

I would like to start out by stating that I strongly support Movember.

 

I also strongly support the wonderful J in all that he would like to achieve.

What I am not so keen on is: that for the month of November I am married to someone who would be quite at home in a 70’s porn video! 

However leaving my reservations aside, in honour of the wonderful J starting his Movember quest I baked him some chocolate/hazelnut and lemon/coconut cupcakes with cream-cheese icing to take to work.

They were a hit and he is now on his way to raising some money for this fantastic cause. If you would like to sponsor him in this quest you can do so here – Thanks in advance!   

Also.

You would have noticed (if you have been following along for awhile!), that my work colleagues tend to be Guinea pigs for some of my cooking.  I had promised them awhile ago that I would take some cupcakes into work – my work colleagues have memories like elephants and as such kept reminding me about my promise! 

Now everyone is happy ..... at least for a little while!
