Wanaka

We have been in Wanaka for 4 days now and it is truly spectacular place.

The first day we were here I was good for nothing trying to get over a cold so while the wonderful J was snowboarding I was enjoying the view from our apartment..... and what a view!

Day two was overcast and a bit cloudy but I took myself out for a walk to see what could be seen anyway - but the day (and photos) just did not do this place justice.

However Thursday was spectacular!

It took some time for the clouds to burn off but once they did what a sight.

And this is what greeted us this morning ....... Now I don't have much time for sunrise but even I am impressed by this....
